How to use ADSL Modem / Router as Cloud Router / Access Point..




Generally ADSL Router has  four LAN ports. If you want to use this router as a Access point only, the first step is disabling DHCP and delete WAN (Wide Area Netword) setup. For this connect the router with your PC with Ethernet cable and Access the your ADSL Modem Admin page by  http://192.168.1.1  in browser address . Use the user id  and password as noted your ADSL Router guide book.


Step 1: Type 192.168.1.1 on address bar of  browser and Enter.  Use the user id  and password as noted your ADSL Router guide book.

Step 2: Delete WAN (Wide Area Netword) setup in ADSL Modem/Router .



Step 3: Disable DHCP Server in your ADSL Modem/Router.

Step 4: Reboot /Save ADSL Modem/Router.

 Step 5: Connect RJ-45 from any port of ADSL Modem/Router to your PC LAN card and start to Internet access.
