How to calculate Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) of any Cell phone

What is Specific Absorption Rate (SAR)?
Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is the measurement of amount of radio frequency (RF) energy absorbed by the body when using a cell phone. It measure in unit of Watts per Kilogram (W/Kg) and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) standardize the level of 1.60 W/Kg. If Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) value is more than 1.60 W/Kg, You should thing about change of cell phone.

How to Check Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) of Cell phones:
Dial *#07# on you Cell phone and it will display Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) value of your cell phone

SAR value of Redmi 5A

Caution:
·         The Xiaomi Mi A1 with 1.75 W/kg SAR value is found to be emitting the highest amount of radiation.

·         Xiaomi Mi Max 3 and the OnePlus 6T take the third and fourth spot with 1.58 W/kg  and 1.55 W/kg, respectively.

·         SAR value of a phone has to be mandatorily declared by the company that has made the phone.
