How to Track Your Ration Card Application status

Any type of ration card charges or new ration card you need to submit an application to BDO (Block Development Office) office. After submitting application officer enter your details to computerized system for print/reprint ration card. This may take some time may be one month or may be more.  You have to wait that time but how you will know your data entry complete or not??? So you have to go office to check. But hare is one way to check your data entry done or not online.

Step 1. Open www.wbpds.gov.in and click on features.

Step 2.  click on check Ration Card Application Status under  features menu.
Step 3. Select * *form type, District and Municipality/Block.

Step 4. Enter last 8 digit of your application number. Eg. 18036516 or Enter full 16 digit Application Number altogether. Eg. 1700242818036516 and click on Search  Button.

 After search if it is  show Your application has not not been entered online by office where you submitted your application i.e Block Ration officer not enter your application to system for print your ration card. you may go to office or may wait more some days.

After search if is is show Approved on Remarks column i.e. Block Ration officer already enter your application to system for print your ration card. your card will come to home within short period.


** Form type:
          Form IV for ration card Dealer change i.e change one address to another address.
          Form V  for Name and Address correction
