The importance of Aadhaar card is increasing day by day. It is
mandatory for individual to link with other various documents like PAN card,
driving license, Bank Account etc as per Indian Government guideline. It is a
unique document as it contains essential information, including demographic and Biometric details like fingerprints, eyes (iris) and photo identity.
How to Lock Aadhar Card Services ?
• Visit the UIDAI home page and go to My Aadhaar àAadhaar Lock Service or click on the Link https://resident.uidai.gov.in/aadhaar-lockunlock
• Select Lock UID under Personal Details.
• Enter the security code or captcha displayed on your screen and click on send OTP Buttom
• You will then receive an OTP (One Time Password) on your registered mobile phone via SMS
Here Aadhaar Number, Name and Pin code is not showing, it is blur for security purpose
• Enter the OTP and a security key or password of your choice
• Now Click on Submit.
• Your Aadhaar Card Services will then be locked.
Visit Again.
