All the BSNL 4G SIM cards will have “BSNL 4G” written on them, which is easy to distinguish between a 2G/3G and a 4G SIM. BSNL 4G SIM card comes with red Shaded border. Visit nearest BSNL customer service center for SIM card checking.
How to upgrade from BSNL2G/3G SIM to 4G SIM?
State-owned telecom service provider BSNL
is expected to launch 4G service on pan India basis by June 2024 after that will start working on a 5G network
BSNL offers 4G SIM card
upgrades of free of cost at BSNL customer service centers, franchisee offices,
retail stores. Once upgraded 2G/3G to 4G SIM, you should be able to access 4G
internet.
For a SIM up-gradation, one has to go through digital KYC, which requires document like original Adhaar card. Visit nearest BSNL customer service center or retailer for free 4G SIM up gradation.
