How to turn on Wi-Fi Mobile Hotspot in Windows 10

What is Hotspot?

A Hotspot is a physical location where people may obtain Internet access, typically using Wi-Fi technology, via a wireless local-area network (WLAN) using a router connected to an Internet service provider.

Step 1:  Right Click on Globe Sign of Laptop/Desktop right bottom corner side and also Open Network and Internet setting

Step 2:   Select Mobile Hotspot.  Here it showing we can’t set up mobile hotspot because your PC doesn’t have an Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Cellular data connection i.e. no internet connection to your PC. Check Internet connection to PC.

Step 3:  After Internet connection “we can’t set up mobile hotspot because your PC doesn’t have an Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Cellular data connection” will not appear.  Here Internet connection is sharing from Wireless local-area network (WLAN). Here is a option to create Hotspot vis Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection and can change Hotspot name and password.

Step 4:  Click turn on mobile Hotspot. It can connect maximum 8 connections. Here it showing one Android device connected also showing Physical Address (MAC).

Thank you
